However, our recommendation is that you don’t buy nonstick cookware for your primary cookware.

The life span of a nonstick pan is short–it’s estimated to be 1-5 years, and often ends up on the low end of that.

Nonstick pans are also fussy to use: You have to use utensils that won’t scratch. You can’t use anything abrasive to clean them. You can’t put them in an oven–at least over 400F or so–because it degrades the coating. Aerosol cooking spray also degrades the coating if it’s PTFE.
