Vegetarian Mushroom Flavoured Stir

An all-purpose seasoning sauce for dipping, braising, and stir-frying. Ideal for pasta, fried rice, bean curd, and all vegetarian dishes.

Water, sugar, salt, modified corn starch, brown sugar, soybeans, wheat flour, caramel color, shitake mushroom flavor, sodium benzoate as a preservative.

Tasty Vegetarian Stir Fry with lots of colourful veg.
- 1 Tablespoon Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil
- 1 small Onion, finely diced
- 2 Carrots, peeled & sliced
- 2 Capsicums, I used red & yellow, sliced
- 1 cup Broccoli, separate into small pieces
- 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
- 1 Cup Mushrooms, cleaned & sliced
- 8 Baby Corn, canned, halved if large
- 12 Snow Snap Peas, tipped and spine removed* see notes
- 1/3 Cup Lee Kum Kee Vegetarian Stir Fry Sauce

If Using A Protein You Can Cook This First Them Add Again At The End
The vegetables you use in this stir fry is completely up to you and based on what is in season where you are based. I have used a big combination here to give you ideas, and this way I can pick out lots of veges the kids all love for their serving.
I have added noodles here, using delicious egg noodles, but any noodles will be lovely if you would like to turn it into a full meal. I cooked them as per the packet instructions then added the same Lee Kum Kee Vegetarian Stir Fry Sauce and stirred through to coat.
If you would like to add some protein to this I highly recommend some pan friend Halloumi or tofu, keeps the meal vegetarian but finishes it just perfectly, I have used a lovely Halloumi here, squeaky cheese is so tasty! See my notes in the recipe for how to easily cook Halloumi.

Easy Black Bean Stir Fry with Beef
The convenience of using these sauces add so much flavour, I always garnish with some toasted sesame seeds, the kids soon tell me if I forget this bit so be sure to have some of those on hand. I simply gently toast them in a dry frying pan until they begin to colour, see my notes below for further details on how to prepare the sesame seeds.

Love the flavour and texture, goes really well with tofu and veg. Love that they have a vegetarian option! Lee Kum Kee is my fave brand for sauces for this reason!
