Tia Lupita Chipotle Hot Sauce Review

Tia Lupita Hot Sauce Review

Hello, everyone! Its time once more for another hot sauce review. I am continuing to look at the sauces from Tia Lupita. Ive already had their basic hot sauce, so its time to get into the specialty sauces. Im starting out with chipotle. To do a quick recap: I really loved Tia Lupitas basic hot sauce, so Im really looking forward to good things giving this one a go. I love chipotles , but the sauces Ive had with them have never been quite smokey enough for me. Come on! Wheres the smokey flavor like in ? Will I find that here? Lets find out.

Before I eat the sauce, I want to know whats in the sauce. So, lets take a look.

We start off strong with chipotle peppers. Im hoping to get a lot of that smokey, earthy flavor from them. We continue with water. Then, theres distilled vinegar. For a bit of sweetness, we have blue agave nectar. We continue on with the spice pack of salt, garlic, oregano, black pepper, and cumin. This is much the same recipe as in the original sauce with the swap out from red jalapenos to chipotles and the addition of blue agave nectar. I wonder if Ill get the same sort of does this have tomatoes? vibe as I did from the original.

Suggested dishes: This seems like a good sauce to cook with. Id add it in as Im mixing up some taco beef for a lot of good flavors that it brings to the party. Same with if Id just browned up some beef for chili. Or add to Sloppy Joes as youre mixing them up for an added bit of special flavor and a kick.

Smokeshow Super Hot Sauce

I decided to combine these 2 hot sauces into one review, because I was pretty sure I wouldnt be able to write a very long post on this first oneSmokeshow Super Hot Sauce-Habashow.

I bought this mainly because it was very inexpensive, and because I liked the bottle. Also, it is made here in Oregon. I always try to support local companies when possible, and I always hope they are awesome. There were 3 varieties of the Smokeshow brand, Pretty Hot, Kinda Hot, and Super Hot. Of course, me being me, I went for the hottest option. They also have a green hot sauce that I have not tried yet.

The bottle is cute and small . The sauce is very liquidy and had a squeeze top, kind of like an eye dropper, or one of those bottles we used to use in chemistry class back in high school.

Flavor

It only has four ingredientsVinegar, Peppers, Salt, and Water. I liked that it didnt have any extra, unpronounceable things thrown in there. I didnt really expect flavor to be the star of this hot sauce, as there are only 4 ingredients. It was nice going into this one without high expectations, as I usually do.

This hot sauce, as far as I can tell, has no flavor whatsoever. It does, however, have some heat. This may sound like a negative statement, but really its not. I am super excited about this sauce!

Tia Lupita Habanero Hot Sauce Review

Welcome back, everyone. Yes, another hot sauce review already. I said I wanted to finish off some packs of chicken before I went grocery shopping again this week. I also have a big shipment of more hot sauces coming in, so I wanted to get through some of these. This time around, Im finishing up my tour of the sauces made by Tia Lupita. Its been an absolutely lovely tour. Theres a lot of good flavors to be found in these bottles. Before, Ive sort of felt that some of the sauces Ive been trying have been a little samey. That has not been the case here. So, lets finish up with Tia Luptias Habanero hot sauce.

Moving along, as I realize were actually a long way from the end of this ingredients list, we continue with date syrup. Dont see that often, but should add sweetness. Then, canola oil, which explains the creamy color and texture of the sauce. Next up is mango. Super-sweet, Im starting to think that this sauce isnt going to be super hot but could end up being super sweet. Lets continue. We have some seasonings in the form of salt, garlic, and black pepper. We then get to red bell pepper. We finish up with oregano, cumin, habanero powder, and turmeric.

Suggested dishes: This could really go on much of anything. Burgers, tacos, burritos, on chili, on eggs. I could see adding this to a salad dressing and using it with salad greens.

Hot Sauce Review Wrap Up

I think everyone that just wants add a little kick to everyday meals should try the Smokeshow Super Hot Sauce. Like I said earlier, it is priced so well that everybody can give t a try. It would literally be great in, or on anything!

One thing negative about the Smokeshow Hot Sauce is that the tip gets clogged fairly easy. So, I pretty much have to stick a toothpick in it every time I use it. I think I could probably just widen the hole with a fork tine and eliminate the issue, but I havent tried that yet.

Tia Lupita is much more of a flavor overload, but I think it is worth giving a try. It has a really unique flavor compared to all other hot sauces I have tried. It tastes really fresh and like it was made with love. It might not be something that you use everyday like the Smokeshow Hot Sauce, but is something tasty and might be nice to have around.

Ignore what I saidbuy this Hot Sauce! It is great! I am about to get my second bottleJust updating this article is making me head to the kitchen to look for something to put a douse of Tia Lupita on. Mouth watering good I tell ya!
