Okay – let me start this off by saying I absolutely love the food at Chuy’s. I am a die hard fan of the creamy jalapeño and the chile rellenos w/ deluxetomatillo sauce. However – the service at this location is absolutely terrible. I’ve ordered To Go twice and each time – the same guy working there was incredibly rude. So rude that my friend and I almost said forget our order, we are leaving. I ate here again on Thursday thinking that maybe service would not be so bad if we dined in rather than order it to go and our waiter was rude from the beginning. He asked us if we wanted menus and then rolled his eyes as he went to go grab them. Once he gave us our menus, he asked what we wanted to drink and we said we’d take a water for now as we just got the drink menu and needed a minute…once again – it was like we were ruining his whole day Now this is what I don’t get – YOU ARE WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU WORK FOR YOUR TIPS. Why would you be rude? Anyway TLDR Service sucks. Wouldn’t come back even though I love the food, feeling like a nuisance to the waiters is not worth it…I’ll just go to El Tiempo where the service and the food are both always on point.
