Ways To Use Keto Alfredo Sauce

I mentioned earlier a few traditional ways you can use this keto alfredo sauce, but there are many other ways to have it as well!

You can use it as a dipping sauce for these keto mozzarella sticks or keto crackers.

You could use it in place of marinara sauce for this 10-minute keto pizza.

Or, you could even meal prep this instant pot shredded chicken and use it as a sauce for that as well.

Homemade Whole30 Alfredo Sauce Ingredients

No

Theres fewer than 10 ingredients in this Whole30 homemade alfredo sauce, and many of them are likely to be ones you already have, which makes this a no-brainer when it comes to making your own alfredo sauce. Youll need 1 cup of raw cashews, do not use salted and roasted cashews. I always order the bags of raw cashews from Thrive Market, but you can get them at most major grocery stores.

Youll also need lemon juice, half of a yellow onion, minced garlic, nutritional yeast and a few spices, like salt, rosemary and pepper. Nutritional yeast is a Whole30, Paleo and vegan cheese substitute that isnt really cheese, but it gives any recipe its in a cheesy, nutty flavor. Nutritional yeast can also be picked up on Thrive Market, , or any major store.

Keto Alfredo Sauce Recipe

There are a lot of keto alfredo sauce recipes out there, but this is my favorite. Its super easy to make and only has a few ingredients. Plus, its really delicious and creamy. To make this keto alfredo sauce, youll need: -1/2 cup heavy cream -1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese -1 garlic clove, minced -1/4 teaspoon salt Simply combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Then, enjoy!

Keto Alfredo Sauce is a simple cheese sauce that goes well with your favorite meats, vegetables, seafood, and pastas. This keto-friendly version of the classic recipe contains 3 grams of carbohydrates per 1/3 cup. We recommend using it in non-keto dishes such as Shrimp Alfredo pasta or Chicken Alfredo Lasagna Roll Ups. Keto Alfredo Sauce, a simple cheesy sauce, is an easy way to make your favorite meats, vegetables, seafood, or pasta. When you consider the low carb version of a classic sauce, you may reconsider purchasing alfredo sauce in the future. After the sauce has cooled on the counter, it should be stored in a freezer-safe container or bag.

Ingredients And Nutritional Quality

Summary:

Grade: A+

This ingredient list is a departure from the classic, but most definitely a welcome one on the nutrition front, leaving zero room for deduction thanks to natural/organic ingredients and a complete lack of harmful additives.

Here is the ingredient list for Primal Kitchen No-Dairy Alfredo Sauce:

Water, Pumpkin Seed Butter, Avocado Oil, Organic Tapioca Starch, Roasted Garlic, Sea Salt, Onion Powder, Organic Lemon Juice Concentrate , Black Pepper, Citric Acid, Nutritional Yeast.

First of all, lets not pretend it isnt therepumpkin seed butter.

From a nutritional perspective, pumpkin seed butter ranks high on the list of plant-based butters for its high nutritional density, delivering healthy amounts of magnesium, zinc, and other nutrients with fewer calories than most nut butters.

But still, you say, its pumpkin seed butter in alfredo sauce.

Rest assured, well cover in detail just how the pumpkin seed butter impacted the flavor of our Primal Kitchen No-Dairy Alfredo Sauce in the user experience section below, so dont worry .

Setting that aside for now, the rest of the ingredient list stays true to Primal Kitchens near-perfect nutritional and cleanliness standards.

The avocado oil, garlic, onion powder, pepper, nutritional yeast and lemon juice kick in a slew of nutrients to complement the pumpkin seed butter, and citric acid is definitively on the more benign side of preservatives.

As such, its an A+ for ingredient and nutritional quality.

Comparison: Primal Kitchen Vs Sir Kensingtons

Keto One Pot Fettuccine Alfredo with Scallops | 5 Ingredient Recipe

Youve probably seen Primal Kitchen and Sir Kensingtons side-by-side in the grocery aisle. Theyre similar brands that both focus on quality ingredients and even have some of the same products.

Sir Kensingtons inventory includes everything from dressings to condiments to marinades, all packed with bold, tasty flavors, clean ingredients, and some pretty posh product descriptions.

Because both of these brands started out making mayo, we decided to zoom in on Sir Kensingtons Classic Mayonnaise and compare it to our featured brands options.

The competitor uses organic certified humane free-range eggs yolks sourced from family farms in Eastern Iowa. Though we dont know the source that Primal Kitchen uses, we do know theyre cage-free.

As for other ingredients, Sir Kensingtons mayo uses sunflower oil, a smart pick for dressings that is said to have some heart-healthy benefits thanks to the linoleic acid found inside.

Its other simple ingredients include water, distilled vinegar, fair trade organic cane sugar, lemon juice, citric acid, and lemon oil. That lemon oil will definitely give this mayo a brighter taste, the kind that Sir Kensingtons is known and loved for. The same brand does offer an avocado oil version as well just like our featured company does.

Now, what makes these brands so different is that Primal Kitchen products do not contain added sugar, making most of them suitable for a keto diet. Its Mayo is made with avocado oil and absolutely no sugar.

The online platforms around the world are growing exponentially in size, and that applies to the selection of products as well. As they get more popular, more and more brands sign up to sell their products on online platforms.

They have a wide range of products across many categories, divided and organized well. This helps you find exactly what you are looking for easily. You may even get software-generated recommendations for products you may need. This includes alfredo sauce brand and many more.

Directions For How To Make Jar Alfredo Sauce Better

Im sure there are plenty of ways to do this, but Ive found this to be the easiest way.

Feel free to switch out the ingredients to ones you prefer.

I believe that the best flavors are the ones you and your family like.

I also highly recommend choosing just a few of the above ingredients to test the first few times.

Pour the jar of Alfredo sauce into a medium saucepan and turn the burner to medium-high heat.

As soon as you see a couple of bubbles, turn it down to medium-low heat.

Now start adding the ingredients you like.

I highly recommend sautéing the onions if you choose chopped onions as one of the ingredients because that brings out the flavor.

I used all dried seasonings because thats what I had. But if you have access to fresh ingredients, I highly recommend using those.

My pepper mill is still packed , so I used already ground pepper.

Fresh ground pepper is much better. Or you can use white pepper.

I added chopped chicken that I cooked earlier to make chicken Alfredo.

If you dont have fresh cooked chicken, you can use the canned version.

After its added to the cream sauce with the other ingredients, you probably wont be able to tell the difference.

When Im in the mood for seafood, I might use either shrimp or scallops instead of chicken. Both are good. Try using a variety of different proteins to see which ones you like.

As you add ingredients, you may want to turn the burner up to medium heat to keep the sauce hot.
