February 25, 2020 // Franchising.com // HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – Firehouse Subs® announces the grand opening of its first location in Huntington Beach, California at 7251 Warner Ave. in Suite L. The restaurant opened its doors to the public on Sunday, February 16, under the ownership of Firehouse Subs Franchisee Troy Ruoff.
Firehouse Subs serves a variety of hot specialty subs, piled high with premium meats and cheeses that are sliced fresh daily in-restaurant and steamed together to bring out the ingredients natural flavors, served Fully Involved® with fresh produce and condiments on a toasted sub roll. In addition to its signature subs, the restaurant offers a variety of catering options from sandwich and dessert platters to salads and snacks to fuel any occasion.

The Huntington Beach Firehouse Subs restaurant is open from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., seven days a week. It will offer third-party delivery and in-house catering services to accommodate occasions of all sizes, from office meetings to family gatherings.

Firehouse Subs Launches New Nashville Hot Brisket Sub
Firehouse Subs adds heat to the menu this fall with the launch of the new Nashville Hot Brisket sub.
Available for a limited time at all U.S. Firehouse Subs locations, the new sub features slow-smoked USDA Choice beef brisket smothered in spicy Nashville Hot seasoning and topped with melted pepper Jack cheese, spicy pickle chips, mayo, and sweet and tangy slaw, all on a toasted cornbread roll.
According to a press release, the Nashville Hot Brisket is the brands latest result of a dedicated focus on culinary innovation.
The Nashville Hot Brisket has a medium spice level, but if youre looking for an added kick, you can visit the complimentary hot sauce bar, which offers over 25 complimentary hot sauces, including Captain Sorensens Datil Pepper Hot Sauce.
The new menu item is available at participating Firehouse Subs restaurants nationwide for a limited time.

First Taste, as the name implies, is not a full-blown review, but instead a peek inside restaurants that have just opened, sampling a few items, and satisfying curiosities .
Firehouse Subs, the fast food franchise with more than 440 locations founded in Jacksonville, Florida, by former firefighting brothers Chris and Robin Sorensen, recently opened it’s fifth location in Arizona at the Arcadia Plaza on Indian School Road and 28th Street.

The staff cheers “Welcome to Firehouse!” when guests walk in, causing them to smile as they take in the tidy, bright room filled with Dalmatian-patterned tables, white tile, red chairs, and firemen-focused accessories including photos, “Bunker Gear,” and a custom wall mural of a heroic deed.
And at the ordering counter, before one can ask what makes Firehouse Subs different from the competition, the answer will be given.
Along with quality ingredients , Firehouse Subs steams their meats and cheeses, sans bread, so there’s lots of flavor and no bun mush.
A few bites into my Firehouse sub and this statement proved to be true, along with the observation that the bread is better. Together, they’re two of the reasons Firehouse Subs, taste-wise, edges out competitors like Quizno’s and Subway.
Overall, a decent sub shop if you’re in the area.

Review Of Firehouse Subs
Looking for a tasty quick dinner after a hard days travel and work, punched Deli into Garmin and chose the closest was Subway. I selected Subway then I thought Id like to try something different. Garmin showed Firehouse Subs about a mile further so I thought Id try it. Very Glad I did. Two bread choices not five but the wheat was great. I ordered a large Italian. The person taking my order showed me some of the stuff that goes on it in case there was something I didnt want. It was all good. Then she showed me other stuff they could put on at no extra charge so I added Cherry Peppers. I told her I liked it as spicy as possible so she added extra peppers. The sandwich was great. One of the people behind the counter heard I liked heat and showed me their Hot Sauce bar and explained some of the heat ranges. He even brought one to my table! Great selection of sauces, I ended up buying two bottles of Mad Dog 357 . MD 357 is definitely too hot for most, but I love it. Only have a few days here But I expect to be back even with so many restaurants to try.Great food, Great Heat, nice atmosphere, and a staff that is as friendly, personable, and helpful as Ive found in any establishment.

This marks the seventh Firehouse Subs restaurant in the greater San Diego area. The restaurant will open its doors to the public on Thursday, December 12 under the ownership of Firehouse Subs Franchisees Smit Patel and Priyank Patel. Firehouse Subs Is Hot

All the usual fire department parallels have already been made. The company is hot! Firehouse Subs to the rescue! And, they have me hooked . . .and ladder!
So well skip the set up and get right to the food.
Visiting a Firehouse Subs is not exactly like sitting down with the firefighters at the station, but its surprisingly close. There is a camaraderie shown at each restaurant location that starts when you walk through the door and hear, Welcome to Firehouse! Every time, and with a cheerful attitude that isnt perfunctory or routine. Kind of like being greeted by close co-workers.
And there are the sandwiches. Any good firefighter pulling kitchen duty knows that a good effort will be met with cheers, and a poor one will be subject to derision for years. These are good.
Each sub is hot, a distinction that Firehouse Subs claims with pride. Each one is piled high with meatnothing skimpy about theseand has flavor that comes from the quality meat as well as the sauces and vegetables that are specifically chosen for each sandwich to bring out that flavor.
Perhaps each sandwich feels back-of-the-Firehouse made because thats where each one started. Two brothers, each having served as a firefighter, started Firehouse Subs and continue to lead its sandwich development.
