Keto Mexican Black Soy Beans Recipe
- 1/2 cup yellow onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
In a small sauce pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes, until the onions just begin to soften.
Add the undrained black soy beans, cilantro, cumin, paprika and salt. Stir well and reduce heat to medium-low. Allow to cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and adjust seasonings to your preference.
Serve sprinkled with more chopped cilantro and crumbled cotija cheese if desired. Add to tacos or serve as a side dish for any Keto Mexican meal.

How To Make The Best Keto Italian Rag Aka Bolognese Sauce
Its a lazy, one-pot method. Splash extra virgin olive oil, brown the meat, add everything else, lid on, lower heat, timer on. Couldnt be easier.
When you read the recipe, youll notice that it calls for minced garlic + shallot. I mince garlic and a tiny amount of shallot because I have an allergy to alliums that can make me ill if Im not careful. Once you open a jar, it needs to be stored in the refrigerator with a tight lid. Our suggestion is to use the fermented black bean sauce within 6 months. However, you will see some articles list it good up to 2 years. However, we love using black bean in Mapu Tofu , Baked Cod Parcels with Black Bean Sauce and many other stir fry dishes.
