What Do Tigers Eat
Ambar deer, water buffalo, wild pigs and antelope are the main diet and any other food that can get in to their opportunistic paws makes up its diet. They are also known to hunt dogs, sloth bears, crocodiles, leopards and monkeys as well as pythons and hares. While injured and old tigers, are known to attack domestic cattle and humans.
The amount of food for pet tigers vary with species but in any case, still a 300 lb pet tiger eat much more than an adult human being and house cat diet put together. Domesticated and non domesticated Tigers eat meat, and in large amount. They will eat a minimum of 10 pounds of meat daily for up to 20 years and this excludes the supplements and vitamins needed to add to the diet.
Additionally, a commercially prepared meat blend and also bones are offered to pet tiger as this aid in natural chewing and nutrition. But research shows that these commercial diets only are not actually what a pet tiger needs. Usually, they are deficient in taurine and with too much amount of Vitamin A and other ingredients. Each food varies as so to the individual tiger’s requirements in a particular activity, species, season and other factors).
According to Animal scientists, a raw meat diet is the preferred source of protein for tigers. However, pet owners may be required to supplement this with other nutrients.
Who Invented Tiger Sauce
As far as I know, Tiger Sauce has been something that people have been putting on their ribs, shrimp, beef, pork, veggies and anything that would hold still long enough to have a bite taken out for YEARS!
I have friends who live in the Appalachian Mountains who swear that their relatives invented it. This is their recipe.
This isnt quite the same as the Outback Steakhouse variety, which I think has dill added. You can always add that for that same flavor.

What Does Tiger Sauce Taste Like
Tiger sauce is hot, sweet, and tangy in flavor and smooth in consistency. Although, it is considered medium in spice enough spice to enhance the flavor of foods without overpowering them.
For the most part, Tiger sauce really is a variation to your typical hot sauce.
Although, the spice does not take center stage.
Instead, it is the sugar and vinegar in the sauce that you really notice when consuming it.
Sure, youll get a kick from the cayenne peppers at first, but that soon is mellowed out by the sweet and tangy flavors.
And then there is the rest of the spices, which round off the sauce and give it an element of depth.
One thing to note here is that sauce is very addictive.
Its one that keeps you coming back for more, and many customers report this.
You can see this for yourself on the sauces

Really great sauce. I tried it for my smoked chicken wings. Normally I have ranch dipping sauce no matter what. Thats when I realized that this sauce was much better all on its own. Still not sure if I should refrigerate it after opening though.

Hi Justin, We love hearing from our Tiger Sauce fans! If you prefer not to refrigerate the sauce will be fine. 60 days from opening the bottle would be the approximate time frame to use the sauce once it has been opened.

- If you dont have smoked paprika, its ok, use regular paprika
- Whatever you do, do NOT substitute regular horseradish sauce for the creamy horseradish sauce. If you do, your sauce will be TOO HOT, lumpy and will taste funny.

First had this seasoning at a bar in Madison, In they put it on their hamburgers. I ordered my first container and I put this S& %T on everything lol. Eggs, popcorn, beef, fish, veges, mashed taters, etc. in place of salt. I refer family and friends to this product often.

My grandfather used this alone on grilled steaks while I was growing up in the 80s & 90s. Its the only thing I use on non-marinated steaks to this day! Absolutely love it!!!
Nick Fields May 29, 2021
We have been using this product for decades. It was originally called Praise Allah and was the secret behind the incredible steaks at a restaurant I worked at in college in the late 70s/early 80s. The name was changed to Tiger Seasoning when it was purchased by Riley Foods. This stuff is simply amazing on beef, chicken, fish, vegetables, and rice. Try it on french fries and you will never eat fries again without it. We buy it by the case from Riley.

Robert Brady February 4, 2021
If you like to do your own French fries then this seasoning is the best Ive used for that. Fresh cut potatoes or frozen, it doesnt matter, this makes it better. Better than plain salt but not overpowering. Like it says, Try Me!

I absolutely love this stuff, would love to try some of the other products, but you dont distribute them in Alaska, and for some reason, you want 38 dollars in shipping to ship a $2.50 bottle of sauceand its darn near impossible to find Tiger sauce here because they cant keep the shelves stocked.
Please for the love of God, work on your shipping prices on this site. I could flat-rate 12 bottles of sauce via the post office for 15 bucks. 38 dollars for a single bottle, and thats the CHEAPEST rate? Give me a break.

How To Choose A Tiger Sauce Substitute
Picking your Tiger Sauce substitute is not a complex thing to carry out. It is important that you know two key things in advance, though: what is your meal going to be and what consistency do you like your sauce to be.
If you are hosting a barbecue and cooking meat like steaks, burgers, chicken wings, or a vegetarian/vegan option like tofu or seitan, you can either decide to go for a smooth, creamy sauce or a glaze.
A slightly runny homemade sauce is ideal to be poured on top of your meal or to include a tiny amount on the side to dip your food in.
If you prefer to have your food coated in your sauce, it is most adequate to go for a glaze. The glaze would be the result of the mixing between your favorite hot sauce and a sweetener such as corn syrup or honey.
You can either smear it on top of it while the food is cooking or right afterward as it is still hot. It will add a fantastic spicy kick to your food that is impossible to resist!
For marinades and sauces, a viable option is to select some Pickapeppa sauce from the store. Its superb levels of spiciness and its fantastic sweet and sour taste make it the most appropriate dupe for Tiger Sauce.
If what your meal needs is extra smoothness and more spiciness instead, a homemade cajun Tiger Sauce is what will work best for you.
Utilize it as a dip or as a sauce to pour on top of your meal, and it will prove to be an outstanding success among your guests.

What Does Tiger Sauce Look Like
Much like the label, this look of Tiger Hot Sauce is unique. You can see a crimson, watery sauce with small cayenne seeds suspended within the sauce. Its not bright and exuberant, but it still looks somewhat appetizing. You can immediately tell that the sauce will not make your mouth flame, though.

You can buy Tiger Sauce in many grocery stores and online yet, I dont recommend buying. Instead, I recommend taking 3 minutes and mixing up your own because it will taste better and hey, youll be amazed with yourself! PLUS, youll save money!

Tiger sauce can be purchased at most of the major grocery store chains, including Walmart, or it can also be easily purchased online through sites including Amazon.
