Volcano Taco And Lava Sauce
Similar to the Black Jack Taco, the Volcano Taco is often remembered for its unique colorbright red. The taco was complete with ground beef, lettuce and lava saucea controversial taco bell item with notoriety for its ability to cause indigestion. The Volcano Taco was marketed as Taco Bells spiciest taco ever, with help from its destructive sauce. They were spicy, Quinn said. But that did not stop people from ordering them. The sauce was discontinued in 2013, but brought back two years later due to popular demand on social media. In 2016, it was removed from the menu for a second time and hasnt re-appeared, despite some outrage.

Doritos Locos Tacos & Cool Ranch Tacos
Another of the new batch of casualties are the Fiery Doritos Locos Tacos and the Cool Ranch Doritos Tacos andumwere sorrywe dont even know what to say about this. We were already bummed out by the Double Deckers demise, and having to work through this at the same time is a bit much. At least it might still be possible to request a Double Decker on the DL, secret menu style, but once the Doritos shells are gone, theyre gone .
Does Taco Bell Sell Their Chipotle Sauce
Taco Bell does their Chipotle sauce, but only in small, individual serving size portions.
You can purchase them in a restaurant or online whether you decide to buy them separately, or as part of your meal.
At the time of writing, they are $0.45c per serving, but there is no limit on how many you can buy.
But what about the larger bottles?
Well, Taco Bell does not sell these directly.
You would need to go to the likes of Walmart, Safeway, Kroger, or Amazon for those.

Sauce For 1 Taco Policy
I was told today from my location in Flushing, NY that now it is 1 sauce per 1 taco policy. I use like 6 sauce per taco. It sucks!
That’s a franchise owner decision. Write some comment cards.
I ordered off ebay bc of this policy. No more 1 sauce bs that my “local” TB offers. Local is 20+ miles away.
eBay is pretty much why you’re getting one per taco now.
1:1 is silly…. but 6 per taco? really?
I use 6-8 on the bigger ones
It’s the policy in many places. Don’t get mad at the workers, get mad at the franchise owners. Employees can get in trouble for handing out “too much” sauce, as petty as it sounds.
Got written up for it actually
6 for one taco? I’ve never tried that. I usually only do one.
But, to your original point that sounds like bullshit. I’m not doubting you, but that’s a shitty policy. Sometimes my TB skimps on the souces, but they usually give me about 2 per taco at least.
Don’t take this lying down. Give the bell hell!
Our store in PA are told the same thing. One packet per item. But if you specifically ask for more we are allowed to give it to you.
I find one diablo packet is plenty to get that nice flavor in the taco. A big burrito, maybe 2. But 6 seems excessive.
fuck that shit. i ask for a “handful of fire sauce” whenever i go through and i always get it. what if you go inside? do they keep the sauces behind the counter?
Lol, I usually ask for a good handful
If they don’t comply, just go into the long real quick and get extra, right?
Tips For The Best Sauce
- Do not leave the sauce unattended. Give it a good stir now and then to prevent it from being too lumpy. It only takes 15 minutes to simmer the sauce, so dont worry, you wont have to stand in front of the stove that long.
- If the sauce is too thick, just add a bit of water until it reaches your desired consistency. You can do so while simmering or straining the sauce.
- Some of the ingredients, such as the aji panca sauce, smoked red pepper jalapeno powder, and chipotle peppers in adobo, may be hard to source. Dont worry, you can all get them from Amazon.
- You can use a myriad of peppers to achieve your preferred flavor, color, and spice level. Here are some options to choose from. Feel free to mix and match!
- For a mild sauce, use green bell peppers, jalapenos, and poblanos. You can take out the seeds from the peppers, too.
- For a moderately spicy sauce: cayenne peppers, red bell peppers, and red jalapenos.
- For a wildly hot sauce, use serranos, habaneros, and ghost peppers.

Some Final Thoughts On Taco Bell
No matter your background or preferences, nearly everyone has found themselves in a Taco Bell at one point. While some of us proudly have the app on our smartphone, others shamefully slip through the drive-through for an indulgent late-night snack. No matter how you want to spin it, one thing is for sureits menu may change, but Taco Bell isnt going anywhere. According to Quinn, even years in the Taco Bell kitchen hasnt deterred his occasional cravings.
I worked there for a long time and I still want their food sometimes. Not many fast food employees can say that about where they worked, Quinn said. It definitely has a role in American culture and a very devoted fanbasebut I think its well-deserved.
For now, just be sure to enjoy your favorite items while they last because you never know when they might disappear forever. If you dont believe me, just read this petition shamelessly begging for the return of the Verde Sauce.

Taco Bell Fire Sauce Discontinued
I keep my fridge stocked with the supplies to make a late night burrito when I need to put to rest a belly full of booze. Taco Bell Fire sauce is a critical component. Months ago my grocery store stopped carrying it, as well as Walmart, target or anyplace else so Id get bottles off of Amazon. Now, they arent even there. Mild, Medium, Hot all available. No Fire.
Looks like its a national supply chain issue. No personnel to deliver supplies or repair parts. Damn, this is getting serious.
Does Taco Bell still have it in the packets? You could just go into a restaurant and grab a few handfuls. Hell, order something at the drive through and theyll give you like 30 of them.
National chain/franchise restaurants generally arent known for having offensive food. If they make their fire sauce so hot that too many people dont want it, it wouldnt be worth it to them.
Interesting. I just went to Taco Bell on Friday and they said they were out of Fire sauce. I got Diablo instead, which was fine.
Im heading to Taco Bell tonight and grabbing mittfulls of the packets, thats what I know.
This supply chain issue is worrying and they will be necessary for my own personal version of The Purge.
I think that for some of their hotter sauces, they keep the capsaicin level the same, but add smoke flavor.
ETA: re-reading that first paragraph, I want to clarify I wasnt suggesting what you said was incorrect, just posting what I read.

The Sizzlin Bacon Menu
In 1995, Taco Bell found itself in the middle of bacon crazea fad that burger chains could work with easily. As a response, they launched three new bacon-based menu items as a part of their new, competitive Sizzlin Bacon Menu. The items, complete with traditional Taco Bell staples combined with bacon and ranch, were the Bacon Cheeseburger Burrito for $1.79, the B.L.T. Soft Taco for 79 cents, and the Chicken Club Burrito for $1.99, respectively. However, customers quickly began to complain of both undercooked and overcooked bacon, and questioned the role of ranch in a taco. Unsurprisingly, all of the products failed in the early 2000s.

Enchiritos May Be Gone But Theyre On The Taco Bell Secret Menu
This hybrid between a burrito and an enchilada has been a favorite since the 1970s, and Taco Bell broke a lot of hearts when they removed it from the menu.
But Enchiritos are still in the Taco Bell system, and your local taco slingers can still make them for you!
Just order a burrito with beef, beans, and cheese. Ask for red sauce and a side of nacho cheese.

Taco Bell has discontinued menu items before, but this September, theyre getting rid of a whopping nine items at once, including the Double Decker Taco, Fiery Doritos Locos Tacos, Cool Ranch Tacos, and even standard chips and salsa! Ergo, its time to revisit the Taco Bell menu item graveyard and prepare to inter some more old friends.
With more than two billion customers annually at more than 7,000 restaurants around the world, nearly everyone has a favorite item at Taco Bellbut what is a taco lover to do when their go-to item gets discontinued? While their menu hasnt had too many changes over the years, some of them have still caused waves.

Review Taco Bell Diablo Sauce The Impulsive Buy
How I Made Taco Bells Quesadilla Sauce:
Comparing the ingredients label off a bottle of ranch and the ingredients from Taco Bells Creamy jalapeño sauce, I realized almost all the ingredients in a bottle of Ranch were found in the creamy jalapeño sauce! I decided to add more spices to intensify the ranch flavor as I wasnt getting the results I wanted. After much testing and finally the addition of cumin, I was HAPPY! I even called my husband from the excitement! Search no more folks! This has got to be the closet copycat to the creamy Jalapeño Sauce from TACO BELL! I make this at our home as a staple sauce, especially when were having tacos or taco salad for dinner! And the sauce only gets better after sitting! The excitement is real, so make these chicken quesadillas to satisfy that Taco Bell craving!

Taco Bells Creamy Jalapeo Sauce
Taco Bells Quesadilla sauce is called Creamy Jalapeño Sauce and its that delicious sauce Taco Bell uses in their chicken quesadillas! Drizzle this over burritos, quesadillas, tacos, or any Mexican dinner! You are in for a real copycat treat!
Unfortunately, my first attempts in making the creamy jalapeño sauce werent satisfying. I wanted to simplify the recipe and of course, get it to taste more like the real Quesadilla sauce from Taco Bell. I did more thinking and got down to testing the flavors step-by-step of the way with the real sauce right by my side. So, I created a new recipe that turned out to be a complete success!

What Does Taco Bell Chipotle Sauce Taste Like
I feel a little strange writing a 5-star review about a Taco Bell sauce manufactured by Kraft, but, this stuff really is tasty. It goes really well on sandwiches, salads, tacos, burritos and more. It has an almost nacho cheese taste to it that is pretty unique in terms of the chipotle sauces Ive had over the years.
