I was a bit worried when I came across a headline on Food& Wine saying theres a Papa Johns pizza out there which a former PJs manager said you should never ever order. As it turns out, Id never order this pizza to begin with so Im cool. But I cant speak for you and what types of pizza you eat. This former Papa Johns managers comments came in a Reddit AMA several months ago, heres the Q& A exchange which caught my attention:

Papa Johns has rolled out another limited-time specialty pizza that piles on the extra flavors: the Extra Cheesy Alfredo Garlic Parmesan Crust Pizza, now selling for $10 at participating locations.
The pie features a garlic Parmesan crust topped with Alfredo sauce and a blend of cheeses that includes provolone, fontina and asiago plus an extra portion of mozzarella. Delish hailed the new menu item as Papa Johns cheesiest pizza yet.
YouTube food reviewer Peep This Out gushed about the new flavored-crust pie. If you like a little extra salt in your cheese, you are gonna love this right now because the flavor instantly grabs you, the reviewer, identified as Ian K., said. Its a little on the saltier side, but, guys, theres four types of cheese on this, on top of the two-cheese Alfredo.
He went on to describe the pizza as super cheesy, nice and crispy on the very bottom of the crust and super-flavorful.

Tuscan Six Cheese Pizza
We already told you how we felt about the Extra Cheesy Alfredo pizza, so you know where we stand on these kinds of extra cheesy concoctions. While the Tuscan Six Cheese pizza is similar, we did decide to rank it a bit higher on this list. Why? The main difference comes down to the sauce. While the Extra Cheesy Alfredo pizza has, you guessed it, Alfredo sauce, the Tuscan Six Cheese pizza has real red pizza sauce instead. That layer of tomato-y goodness ensures that you’re getting some variety of flavor when you order this pie.
However, the cheese situation is very much the same. It comes in the form of an “authentic blend of Parmesan, Romano, Asiago, Fontina, provolone, and real cheese made from mozzarella.” Again, we have to ask, what does “real cheese made from mozzarella” mean? It definitely doesn’t seem like it’s the real deal. The cheese itself is good, but considering that there’s so much of it, it does feel like overkill at a certain point.
If you’re going to order a pizza that’s on the plain side, the Tuscan Six Cheese pizza may be the one to order. However, there are much more interesting options on the menu, so stick around to discover what else is available before you order.

Thinking about changing my go to pizza chain to Papa Johns, I just don’t like their sauce. My go to pizza would’ve been the double cheeseburger but it’s getting removed tomorrow so I’m just gonna order pizzas with the alfredo sauce but I’m unsure what goes good with it.
