With the help of my Instant Pot, dinnertime is so much easier in our house. This recipe, being only 5 Ingredients AND made in an Instant Pot means is top of the list for easy dinners and of course is a lovely addition to my Five Ingredient Fridays series!

Chicken breasts are one of those things I always have in my freezer. I tend to buy them when theyre on sale and save some in the freezer for a rainy day. So being able to make a hearty dinner using my Instant Pot makes having frozen chicken no problem. You dont have to thaw the chicken, you can literally put the chicken from freezer into your instant pot with a little bit of chicken stock and cook it on high pressure for 15 minutes.

What Should I Serve With Chicken Alfredo

This dish is so filling, which makes it the perfect quick dinner. But I love serving it with a simple salad, some garlic bread, or even a side of veggies if I didnt add them into the pasta.

My favorite salad to eat with pasta is this copycat Olive Garden Salad with the Italian Dressing. I either go for the homemade garlic bread or the foccacia. Both are delicious, I just need those carbs! Such a perfect dinner!

I love this tangy lemon flavored sauce. It’s quick, tasty and light. I serve it on a bed of buttered spaghetti or rice for my family. I’m a diabetic so I serve mine over spaghetti squash or zucchini. It’s just perfect either way. You can use this recipe for chicken as well, just substitute 2 large chicken breasts, cut in half to make 4 thin fillets.

How To Air Fry Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings

The air fryer works great to create crispy wings, but the only down side is you cant cook all of the Lemon Pepper Wings at once. I usually reserve the air fryer for reheating the wings, but you are welcome to air fry them to cook as well.

  • Grease 2 racks for the air fryer oven. If your air fryer only has a rack and a basket, grease the basket instead.
  • Place the wings on the greased racks in a single layer so they arent touching. You will need to cook in multiple batches.
  • Cook for 15 minutes at 250 degrees F.
  • Flip the wings over and switch the position of the trays, so that the top is on the bottom and the bottom tray is on the top.
  • Increase temperature to 450 degrees . Air fry for 15- 20 minutes or until the chicken are wings cooked through and crispy.

    Directions Combine garlic,soy sauce,water,honey,1 tablespoon oil,cornstarch and black/red pepper. Stir chicken into marinade and mix to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours,stirring once to twice. In large skillet,heat remaining oil. Using slotted spoon,transfer chicken to skillet. Stir-fry about 5 minutes. Remove to platter.

    How To Make Chicken With Garlic Butter

    To a large skillet, add olive oil, chicken breasts seasoned with 21 Salute Seasoning, salt, pepper, and sear on the first side for about 5 minutes. Flip chicken oven and cook on the second side for about 5 minutes.

    When the chicken is done and cooked through, remove it from the pan and allow it to rest on a plate.

    Deglaze your pan with a splash of wine, add the butter, garlic, and cook for one minute, or until the butter has melted and the garlic is fragrant.

    Return the chicken to the pan, toss it in the garlic butter sauce, garnish with parsley, and serve. I told you this was fast and easy!

    What To Eat With Chicken In White Sauce

    You can enjoy this Chicken in White Sauce with the following:

    • boiled rice
    • 4sprigsparsley – chopped
  • Season chicken with half a teaspoon of salt and a quarter teaspoon of white or black pepper.

  • Place a pot on medium-high heat. Place chicken in the pot and let it cook on one side for about 7 minutes. Flip to the other side and let it cook for another 5 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove chicken from pot.

  • To the same pot, place in the butter and let it melt. Add the onion and garlic and saute until fragrant for about 2 minutes.

  • Add the flour and stir. Let the flour cook in the butter for 1 minute while stirring continuously.

  • Slowly add 2 cups of water into the pot and stir.

  • Add the chicken bouillon powder, remaining ¼ teaspoon of white pepper and stir.

  • Add back the chicken to the pot. Make sure the chicken is completely immersed in the liquid or spoon some of the liquid on top to cover it. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, open and stir.

  • Add the cream then let it simmer for another 3 minutes. Taste to ensure seasoning is perfect. I like a little more white pepper so I add some more at this point.

  • Add chopped parsley and stir then turn off the heat.

  • Serve with boiled rice or pasta. Garnish with more parsley if desired.

  • 1. You could substitute the chicken bouillon powder with 2 4g stock cubes.

    2. If you love your sauce with some heat, you could add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.

    Creamy Garlic Sauce Chicken Recipe

    My husband and I like fettuccini Alfredo. Since I have a gluten sensitivity, I get fettuccini pasta thats gluten-free.

    You can serve this however you like, but Ive found this to be the best way to serve this easy recipe.

    After cooking the pasta and putting it on the plate or in the bowl, I scoop some pasta sauce over it. Then I top it with parmesan or a blend of parmesan and Romano.

    Its always good to enjoy any pasta dish with a side salad or steamed vegetable. My husband also enjoys a slice of crusty Italian bread with butter.
