2 Million Scoville Hot Sauce

Must Try

Bunsters Black Label Scoville

Next is a hot sauce thats rated at 99,000 SHU.An import from Australia, Bunsters Black Label Hot Sauce 16/10 has also been featured on Hot Ones. It does not use extracts and instead gets its heat from Birds Eye and Scorpion peppers. The label doesnt specify, but the website says the #3 hottest chilli in the world which means its the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion.

Dragon In The Clouds 1000000 Shus

Moving into the 7-digit SHU level of heat, the unique Hot Ones / 88 Rising collaboration brought us Dragon In The Clouds in 2019. This hot sauce is unique, but also bizarre and difficult to pair with food. It is brutally spicy thanks to Ghost chiles, and has a bitter, citrusy zest from yuzu.

Basically, we tried the sauce, and that was about the end of its use. Weve heard from some readers that they enjoy the unique flavor, but it just wasnt for us. Especially considering the aggressive heat.

Dragon In The Clouds hot sauce is no joke. Though we have been unable to find an official heat level for the sauce, we assume it comes in right around the 1 million SHU mark on the Scoville scale. Given that the first ingredient is ghost pepper, the sauce most likely hits that mark. It sure feels like it does

Hot To Make Superhot Hot Sauce The Recipe Method

Roast the Peppers. Heat an oven to 400 degrees. Set the superhot chili peppers and garlic on a baking sheet and bake them about 15-20 minutes, or until the skins slightly char. Keep an eye on these. You dont want them to burn, and watch out for any fumes.

Alternatively, do this on your grill outside.

Process the Ingredients. Add peppers to a food processor. Squeeze garlic out of their skins and into the food processor they go. Add basil leaves and process.

Vinegar. While processing, add in vinegar until it is nicely pureed. Watch out for the fumes!

Salt and Strain, if Desired. Add salt and stir. Push the sauce through a strainer or use a food mill to really strain it, if desired. Adjust with more vinegar or water to your desired consistency.

NOTE: I dont always strain. It really depends on how thick you want your hot sauce.

Bottle It Up. Pour into bottles and enjoy. Give to your friends! The longer you let it sit, the more the flavors will meld.

Boom! Done! There it is, my friends! Crazy hot hot sauce! Did the fumes get you? How are you going to use this sauce? Id love to hear it! Talk about heat!

Bumblefoot Bumblef***ed Hot Sauce

If you are in a band you must also have a hot sauce. Because Bad Brains has one! The Flaming Lips have one named after them, too. And now Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, the former guitarist of Guns and Roses has one too. Actually, he has six hot sauces that are “all natural, gluten free and peanut allergy safe.”

Rating 6 million on the Scoville scale, this hot saucecontains habaneros, papaya, ginger and caffeine… because of course it does. He says the proceeds from the hot sauces will be going to women’s health charities.

There have been some arguments about this sauce, because according to the label it has 6 million Scoville units, but an was quick to point out that it may actually contain 6 million Scoville extract according to some fine print on the label. Regardless, that sounds just hot enough that after you eat it you decide going on tour with Axl Rose is a pretty good idea.

Dawsons Original Hot Sauce 82000 Shus

As things heat up, the brands become less well-known. However, Dawsons creates some of the most delectable hot sauces out there, and their Original sauce is among them. We find some of the best sauces are simple, and this one is no exception.

The distinction here is that this hot sauce uses habanero peppers as the first ingredient. If you know about habaneros, youll understand why this brings significantly more heat than the first few sauces on our list. Read our full review of Dawsons Original hot sauce here.

Dawsons takes a significant leap up on the Scoville scale. This hot sauce comes in around 82,000 SHUs on the scale, meaning it is significantly hotter than the stuff you can buy at the store. It also comes at a much higher price tag, but we think it is well worth the price for the premium ingredients and the beautiful design and appearance.

Cooking With Hot Sauces And Pepper Extracts

If you think hot sauce is just an ordinary condiment to top off food, think again! Sure hot sauce makes a great topping, but it can also add some great flavor while youâre cooking. In fact, adding some hot sauce or hot pepper extracts into the mix while cooking can be a great way to infuse flavor into just about any food. If youâre not too sure about how to do it, we have some great ideas to take you from snacking to dinnertime.

When it comes to appetizers, try mixing some hot sauce into ordinary dips. Traditionally bland cream cheese or mayo always tastes better when you add in some heat. You can also try mixing in hot sauce to stuffed peppers, mushrooms or eggplant, or simply adding it into the mix when youâre making meatballs or burgers. Of course, chili is pretty great too when you stir in some extra spice. From fiery egg rolls to casseroles, just about anything on the menu tastes better when you take it up a notch in flavor. Just remember that when it comes to some of the hottest hot sauce on the planet, a little usually goes a long way. You may want to start small, and then add in more and more hot sauce to increase the flavor gradually.

Blair’s Mega Death Sauce With Liquid Fury

11-yr-old eats Blair’s 3AM Reserve (2 million Scoville!!) : Hot Sauce Review, Crude Brothers

Blair’s Mega Death Hot sauce with Liquid Fury is supposed to be used very sparingly, probably because it is 550,000 on the Scoville scale.

Finding out what exactly “liquid fury” means is nearly impossible, but this product does contain molasses which is said to mask the liquid fury that comes after. Whatever liquid fury is, it doesn’t sound good, and this hot sauce, apparently, packs a ton of it. Blair’s Mega Death Hot sauce with Liquid Fury is said to be 650 times hotter than a jalapeno. On a review for this sauce, Mark Belanger writes “Great sauce. Feels like getting shot in the tongue. Not that I ever got shot in the tongue but I imagine that’s how it would feel.” You can even buy special edition bottles that arrive in a little coffin box with a skull keychain. Adorable.

Tips For Making Superhot Hot Sauce

A word of caution. Aside from the obvious heat you will achieve with this sauce, you must also beware of fumes in the kitchen. Make this sauce in a well ventilated room.

Open the windows if you can. Pepper fumes can be rough, especially with superhots. Consider a mask and/or goggle to protect your eyes.

Also, wear gloves. I cook with superhots all the time and the oils usually do not bother my skin, but when cooking with a large amount, cutting them open, handling them, you will get some on your skin. It may burn, but if not, it can still burn other parts of your body that you touch.

Once youve made the hot sauce, jar or bottle it and let it sit a week or two for the flavors to truly meld, though you can eat it right away if youd like. Enjoy!

The Last Dab Triple X 2000000+ Shus

The Last Dab Triple X comes in at a whopping 2,000,000+ SHUs on the Scoville scale. This is thanks to the Pepper X Pepper variety bred by Ed Currie of the Puckerbutt Pepper Company. Hes the guy responsible for creating the Carolina Reaper pepper. You know, the hottest pepper on the planet. NBD.
