Pizza Hut’s New State Of Origin Sauces
May 30, 2022: At first glance you might think something went a little awry in the kitchen if your pizza arrived with blue sauce on top like this.
But never fear Pizza Hut is here with an explanation! To celebrate the upcoming NRL State of Origin series between New South Wales and Queensland, the pizza joint has launched two new sauces that you can add to your favourite pizzas, chicken wings, meatballs, and Schnittzas for free.
While the colours may be a little ‘off-putting’ at first, both are actually just coloured ranch sauce.
Just like with anything sport-related, the ‘Sauce of Origin’ has also been turned into an Australia-wide competition, with Aussies able to track how the states are backing each team in real time using the ‘Saucy Stats’ scoreboard on Pizza Hut’s website.
But it’s only available until 13 July.

What Are The Building Blocks Of Superfoods For Dogs And Cats
Humans and pets are not the same , which means each respective group will have a very different diet from the other. Because of this, certain superfoods are going to have distinct effects on pets. So what superfood nutrients do cats and dogs need?
Now this category needs to be at the top of your pet food priorities! Dogs only naturally produce 13 of the 23 essential amino acids that their bodies need, so the remainder must come from food. Cats also require a significant amount of protein, with a particular focus on taurine, another amino acid. Low quantities of taurine in your cat’s diet may lead to heart conditions or abnormal development
2. Fatty Acid
These give your dog or cat healthy hair and skin, as well as the energy they need to live life to the fullest.
Fun fact: Cats specifically cannot create arachidonic acid – an essential fatty acid but dogs can!
__3. Carbs __
Who doesn’t love carbs? When it comes to the carbohydrates your pet needs, we are talking about the fiber and starches that come from ancient grains and vegetables that keep their intestines in tip-top shape.

Are Blueberry Plants Toxic To Dogs
Blueberry bushes arent toxic to dogs. But the plants receive regular supplements of 10-10-10 fertilizer with either ammonium sulfate or potassium sulfate. Although safe in small amounts, extensive contact with ammonium sulfate can cause lethargy and breathing and mobility issues in dogs.
Consider choosing a fertilizer with potassium sulfate, which is safe and is even added to commercial pet food. The plants may also be troubled by insects or funguses. Pesticides that combat these problems can be toxic to dogs. Isolate the shrubs from your dog if you use toxic options. Fortunately, sustainable, non-toxic pesticides are also available.
Blueberries grow in U.S. Department of Agriculture hardiness zones three through eightin other words, in most of the lower 48 states and parts of Alaska. Dogs can adversely affect blueberry bushes if they urinate on or near them. The nitrogen in urine can soften berries and predispose them to rot or cause lush leaf growth with few berries.
Dogs are opportunistic eaters, who may eat a cookie crumb from the kitchen floor or found fruit in the garden. For that reason, you may need to fence off your blueberry and other bushes to keep your dog from gorgingand to ensure you get fruit for yourself.

Bone Broth For Cats Recipe
A basic bone broth is super simple to make, and the best part is that there isnt just one recipe. It all depends on how concentrated you want the broth to be and your ratio of bones to water.
Try the below recipe and if your cat likes it, youll feel like a proud parent. Good stuff! You will need:
- Leftover bones from meals or organic turkey, chicken, or beef bones
- 2 tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice
- Slow cooker or large pot
Rinse the bones thoroughly to remove any sauce or seasonings. Place your clean bones in the pot or cooker and add enough water to covers all of the bones. Then place your pot onto the stove.
Add one to two teaspoons of lemon or vinegar. This light acid ensures that meat, collagen, and all that good stuff falls off the bone. Dont add too much though it can make the broth too bitter for your cat.
Feel free to use bones with some meat and fat on it, itll make the soup even more like a meal.
If on a stove: bring to a boil and watch until everything has softened and begins to fall off. Once it has, turn your stove to the lower setting and simmer covered for at least 2 hours. Skim off scum as it floats to the top.
On a slow cooker: if your bones are chicken or turkey, simmer it for eight more hours. If you have beef bones, they need to cook for another 10 hours. Skim scum as needed.

Are Blueberries Good For Dogs
Blueberries offer powerful nutritional bonuses to dogs. Phytochemicals that occur naturally may combat cancer. The phytochemical compound polyphenol supports cardiovascular health. Antioxidants also fight inflammation and cancer-causing free radicals, such as pollution, in both humans and dogs. Reducing inflammation can minimize brain aging in dogs and lessen arthritis pain.
Vitamins in blueberries, such as C and K, promote a stronger immune system. Blueberry fiber contributes to digestive health and regular bowel movements. Trace elements such as calcium, iron, zinc, manganese, magnesium, and phosphorus, which arent always available in the meat, are present in blueberries. They are often added to commercial food and treats. However, the actual number of blueberries added may not be enough to have a positive effect on your dogs health.

For humans, this can mean dark leafy greens that are high in antioxidants or wild salmon with healthy fats, B vitamins, potassium, and selenium. Benefits Of Using Dog Food Toppers
The first and most important advantage of using food toppers is that it GREATLY increases the palatability of food.
When it comes to feeding our pets, it is very hard to find a good dog food that is both healthy and cost-effective. Even if you do end up finding one, how long can you feed it to your dog without tiring him/her out? No one likes to eat the same food for days after all!
Increasing the quality of dog food often means that the food will be tastier, but that is not always affordable. Hence, if you invest in a few dog food toppers, youll be able to mix it up and change the menu often.
Your dog isnt eating? Pour some liquid food topper or sprinkle some powder ones on top. Your dog is losing weight? Add some extra, nutritious raw food topper that will greatly enhance the calorie count of the food. Want to give your dog a treat after exercising? Why not freeze some broth made from food topper and water and serve them, instead of buying separate treats? Theres only so many ways you can utilize a dog food topper if you get creative.
However, attracting your dog to food is not a food toppers only job. They often contain important nutrients such as canine glucosamine, omega fatty acids, probiotics, minerals and vitamins which greatly benefit a dogs health.

Taylor’s Releases New Flat Wine Bottle
In the continuing push for more environmentally sustainable products a new wine bottle is causing a stir on Australian bottle shop shelves a flat wine bottle, and it’s made of plastic.
The bottle is made from 100 per cent recycled PET plastic and is all Australian sourced, making it a game-changer in reducing waste.
Using the recycled plastic targets one of the wine industry’s environmental hotspots, the production of glass bottles.
But in addition to working towards lowering the wine industry’s carbon footprint, there’s a certain novelty factor that has wine drinkers intrigued. The 750ml bottle can fit into your pocket in a way that the same rounded glass bottle never could. And that sounds like fun.
So far you’ll see both Banrock Station wines and Taylors One Small Step Wines in the new bottles in a collaboration between sustainable packaging pioneers Packamama and winemakers Accolade Wines and Taylors Wines.
From the front, the wine bottles are said to look like the classic high-shouldered silhouette of a traditional ‘Bordeaux’ wine bottle, until you turn them to the side to see the slimline shape. The flatter shape allows twice as many bottles to be packed into a standard wine case, and is 83 per cent lighter than glass, reducing emissions both in transport and production.
And when you’ve finished the bottle, it can be recycled, again.
