Oxygen-based bleach is safe to use for all washable fabrics, white and colored, except for silk, wool, and anything trimmed with leather.

Remove Excess Tomato Sauce

Using a clean white cloth, apply a dry-cleaning solvent to the stained area.

Blot until the liquid is absorbed.

Repeat, applying and blotting the solution until the stain disappears or is no longer absorbed onto the cloth.

In the first spray bottle, mix 1 quart of cold water with 1 teaspoon non-bleach dish liquid and 1 teaspoon white vinegar. If you do not have vinegar, you can try using only the non-bleach dish liquid.

Spray the stain with your selected cleaner.

Using a white cloth/towel, blot, dont rub, the stain. Keep moving to a clean spot on the cloth until the stain no longer transfers to the cloth. Work from the outer edge of the stain to the middle.

Rinse the fabric with water and dry it in the sun. Put the stain in direct sunlight with the stain side facing out. The sunlight should break down any of the remaining stain.

Wash the fabric. Follow the care instructions for the fabric, and wash your fabric normally.
