  • Finish Assembling Pizza: Distribute the spinach mixture evenly over the pizza crust. Follow with the cooked shredded chicken, spoonfuls of the remaining alfredo sauce, and the cheese. Try to distribute all the toppings evenly.

How To Make White Pizza Sauce

Heres a quick overview of the steps, and next Ill walk you through making the white garlic pizza sauce, photo by photo.

Step 1.Roast garlic and oil on the stove. Turn a small pan to medium-low heat on the stove. Add olive oil and garlic. Sauté garlic for about 3 minutes, stirring regularly, until translucent. Remove garlic oil from heat before garlic browns. Set aside to cool.

Step 2.Heat butter with flour to make a roux . What is a roux? A roux is a mixture of equal parts flour + fat that hold the sauce together. In this recipe, butter is the fat.

Turn a small saucepan on the stove to medium heat. Add butter, and once it melts, whisk in flour slowly until it becomes smooth. Cook flour and butter roux mixture for about 1 minute until it turns light brown and the air smells nutty. Keep the pan on the burner, on medium, for the next step.

Step 3.Add cold milk to the roux. Slowly pour cold milk into the saucepan with the roux, whisking as it incorporates. Once all the milk is in the pan, turn the heat of the burner to high. Once the milk begins to bubble , reduce the heat of the burner to medium. Then pour the cooked garlic oil mixture to the saucepan.

Continue to whisk ingredients as they bubble for 1 minute. Then turn off the heat of the burner .

To finish: remove white cheese sauce from the burner and stir in the fresh chopped parsley.

Use white sauce for pizza immediately or store it in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

    Review Of California Pizza Kitchen

    Good for:Restaurant detailsGood for:Creamy Alfredo sauce isn’t

CPK has always been one of our favorite chain restaurants, but no longer. Ordered garlic cream fettuccine with chicken which was described to me by our server as a creamy Alfredo sauce. What was served was milk with some Parmesan cheese in it that when heated to serve became oily fettuccine noodles. When I asked for more of the “cream” sauce I got a small dish of milk and Parmesan. I know that CPK is a healthy food chain, but when I want “creamy Alfredo sauce” that’s what I want to get.

How is it possible that you like a restaurant’s frozen pizza better than fresh pizza right out of their restaurant oven? I don’t know, I ask myself the same question. After buying California Kitchen Pizza’s frozen pizza at the supermarket and liking it very much over many other frozen pizzas I figured that I would give the restaurant a try. What a disappointment. The pizzas somehow had a bunch of different toppings and were not very tasty. Their frozen pizzas have more flavor. It’s funny because their frozen pizza still remains one of my favorite frozen pizzas.

    Gia Russa Sauce Alfredo

The Gia Russa Alfredo sauce is recommended by a Reddit user who considers it the best Alfredo sauce, although it can be expensive.

The manufacturer lists the usual ingredients for Alfredo sauce, such as butter, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, Romano cheese, pepper, egg yolk, and cornstarch, but also a special ingredient, namely heavy whipping cream.

The sauce is therefore thicker than other Alfredo sauces.

How To Make Homemade Alfredo Sauce With Milk Instead Of Cream

I started looking for a way to make homemade Alfredo sauce and stumbled across the idea of making it with cream cheese and milk instead of heavy whipping cream.

What?! Now that sounded doable! And I loved that it was cheaper to make too!

After some experimentation and tweaking, I finally came up with this healthier Alfredo sauce recipe that we love.

In fact, its so yummy that I dont think youll even realize its not the classic full fat Alfredo!

And while its still definitely not a health food recipe, I love that I can enjoy it occasionally without guilt, since it has right around half the calories of classic homemade Alfredo sauce.

And of course, if you compare it to store-bought sauce, its a total win! Because it contains just 8 simple ingredients, unlike any jar that you pull off the shelf.

We love this homemade Alfredo sauce over pasta, as a sauce on pizza , mixed with tomato sauce as a bread dip and in this Applebees Spinach Dip.

Both kids and adults alike love the great taste of Pregos homestyle Alfredo sauce because it has a rich flavor, but isnt too bold in terms of garlic or pepper . It’s plenty delicious, though, thanks to fresh cream, lots of Parmesan, and the addition of delicate fresh herbs and spices.

The jar is extremely family-friendly, too. The 14.5-ounce jar is just the right size for four generous servings of pasta. Alternatively, its ample sauce for crowd-pleasing chicken casseroles.

Trying out a new diet doesnt mean you cant treat yourself to some long-standing family favorites, like chicken Alfredo. Because this pasta sauce is low carb and doesnt have any added sugar, it’s both keto- and Whole 30-friendly.
